My Approach

Like water on rocks, all of us are shaped by our surroundings and where we come from. As your therapist, I will meet you just as you are. I utilize my training in Traditional Counseling, Internal Family Systems, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Multicultural Counseling and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy to support the changes you are ready to make, and be tender with the ones you are just becoming aware of. Together we will work to set goals, collect data from your life experiences and experiment with new behaviors. Through this process we will heal past wounds and trauma, and access a more satisfying and fulfilling life.

“You suppose you are the lock, but you are the key.” Rumi

About Me

I grew up in rural Alaska surrounded by a vast expanse of towering mountains and large glacial rivers. Dramatic seasonal changes in light, temperature, and landscape taught me that stillness exists within the extremes. I spent many years working as a wilderness guide, experiential education consultant, carpenter and heavy equipment operator in wild conditions. These experiences taught me the beauty of vulnerability and strength. They showed me the value of being humble with life’s natural diversity and everybody’s unique expression of self. As a parent, mental health counselor, artist, adventurer and tradesperson I believe in embracing all walks of life. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to know more.
